Hi there! I’m Sarah, a Clinical Intern here at Healing Pathways of Houston.

I have a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Houston and an M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Currently, I am working towards an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University.

My inquisitive nature and love of wisdom have shaped my life path and undoubtedly influence how I show up in the therapeutic context. My approach to therapy is based on a blend of psychodynamic, existential, and humanistic psychotherapies.

During our time together, I will provide a calm and compassionate space for us to explore the challenges you bring to me. Together, we will aim to move you towards deeper awareness, meaning, purpose, freedom, authenticity, integration, and well-being. This process, while deeply rewarding, will be challenging at times. It requires courage to face the feelings and aspects of ourselves that often arise in therapy. My hope is that you will trust yourself and the process and allow yourself to be changed.

In my free time, I enjoy solitude, journaling, going on walks with my husband, being with my cat, moving my body, and appreciating a simple life.

Feel free to reach out and schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me. I look forward to meeting you.
