Journal Prompts for Anxiety

Journaling Prompts to Help Ease Anxiety

Do you find yourself wanting to write down your thoughts, but you’re not sure where to begin?

When you have anxiety, the process of journaling naturally forces you to slow down and work through your thoughts one at a time.

Personally, I love journaling. It helps me explore "the why" behind my feelings and helps me to identify patterns and triggers, and find ways to cope.

If you don’t have a journal, get out a pen and paper and try these prompts for your anxiety. Observe the transformation as you write your feelings down.

  1. How does my body feel in this moment?

  2. What is something that I can forgive myself for?

  3. When do I feel most joyful and at ease?

  4. What is something that I am excited about?

  5. What are three things I would do if I weren't afraid?

I hope these journaling prompts bring up some valuable pieces of insight for you!
